Ingredients:
- 5 teaspoons of salted butter with two tablespoons of potatoes
- 2 teaspoons of minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon of dried Italian herb mixture
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon of freshly chopped parsley
- 5 small steaks
- salt and pepper
- garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 5 pounds small potatoes, cut into cubes
Methods :
Step 1:
Preheat the oven 350 degrees. In a bowl, mix the butter/garlic/dried herbs. Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
Step 2:
Place the skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle with oil. Fry the steaks for 4 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Transfer to a plate and set apart.
Step 3:
Add the potatoes to the pan, season with salt/pepper/ and sauté the garlic powder for 6 minutes. Push the potatoes to one side of the pan and place the steaks on the other side of the pan.
The fourth step:
Return to oven and cook for 21 minutes, until potatoes are forked tender and steak is cooked to taste.
Fifth step:
Immediately after taking it out of the oven, put 1 tablespoon of the garlic butter on each steak and the rest on the potatoes and melt it over the food.
